“A couple of years ago, I decided to do individual equipment based classes as I felt I needed to introduce resistance to improve the muscle stamina. I have been able to reduce painkillers and visits to various therapists. All the teachers within Vital Pilates know how to achieve the best possible posture in Bristol.”

— Sarah Hazell
“I was encouraged to start Elena's Pilates classes after a back injury which left me unable to walk properly for 6 months. I so enjoy the classes and have seen a huge improvement in my core strength and reduction in back pain since starting. The classes also help relieve stress symptoms as the floor work is both strenuous and therapeutic.”

— Kate Jinadu
“I started taking mat classes at ‘Vital Pilates’ about 2 years ago and I am delighted at the improvements to my posture and core strength. Elena is very welcoming and has proved to be an attentive and encouraging teacher. No matter how tired and unenthusiastic I feel at the beginning of the class I always feel more energised by the end.”

— Gail Bowen-Huggett
“I'd always liked the sound of pilates and all the benefits it can bring, but never did anything about it, until I was about 4 months pregnant. The antenatal classes at Vital Pilates sounded brilliant - lots of good stretches to strengthen the important muscles before the big birthing day and to help with the recovery! After having Humphrey I joined the new post natal classes (babies invited too!) and they've been great. ”

— Charlotte Wilsher
“I have been doing the equipment class at Vital Pilates. The room is light and airy and Elena is very professional, friendly and certainly knows her stuff. Each session is varied with a pre prepared plan from Elena which flows smoothly. I have seen great results and would thoroughly recommend any session by Vital Pilates.”

— Andrea Hockey
“I’ve been attending Elena’s Pilates class for over 2 years, initially to help with continuing back problems and now because I enjoy them each week. They have hugely improved my posture, eased back pain and made me more aware of how I carry myself. Elena is a brilliant teacher and very approachable for any questions, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! ”

— Fiona Redmond
“What I did not expect from pilates was the stress relieving qualities, I usually come straight from work and even after a busy day, ten minutes into a session and all the days worries are gone.”

— Gerry Murphy
